Using wax to seal documents started in the medieval period to ensure the document hadn’t been tampered with. We’re seeing a resurgence in them today and they are being used in a variety of ways to elevate cards, packages, etc. They're made of pine resin and are decorated with paper, 18 K gold leaf, or silver leaf.  We’ve packaged them in a variety of themes.
